Built for highly aerobic pursuits in less-than-ideal weather conditions the stretch fabric Tantrum II Hooded Jacket provides shelter from wind and light rain and packs into it's own lower pocket.
Outdoor Research says:
Charge headfirst into gusty rides, runs, or summit assaults with the updated Tantrum II Hooded Jacket. This windbreaker does more than guard against less-than-ideal weather conditions; its movement-mirroring stretch lets you shift and flex on the move, while nylon 20D ripstop adds durability against trail debris. Thumb loops and an elastic drawcord hem let you cinch down its length for extra protection, and a zippered chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack so you can stow, carry, and whip out this 4.7-ounce wind shell whenever it's needed most.
Outdoor Research's Tantrum II Hooded Jacket is ideal for those who would rather run in the mountains. Not only does it offer protection from wind and light rain, it also offers a slight stretch in its fabric which adds to its comfort, not feeling restrictive in any area.
It features gently elasticated hood and cuffs with subtle thumb loops that help keep the sleeves in place, especially on windy runs. Likewise, by placing cinch cords on the hem it allows you to lock the wind out and really dial in the fit.
The chest pocket is a generous size and also doubles as a stuff sack. Once packed away you will notice a small loop and clip which allows you to clip it to the outside of your pack so it's easy to grab in a hurry, or just use it to carry when you don't want to bring a pack.
