Big Agnes Mad House 6 Tent

The Big Agnes Mad House 6 is a free standing, serious basecamp tent that can withstand 4-season weather conditions. This is a solid, heavyweight tent that can cope in mountainous environments in the worst conditions.

Big Agnes's Mad House 6 Tent is extremely spacious with plenty of room for 6 people to sleep comfortably along with their gear. There's 2 doors for easy access, one with a large vestibule which is great for storing bulky, technical winter gear. The doors feature two closure options; zip up mesh door for ventilation only and or zip up the polyester layer for full protection. As with all Big Agnes tents there are numerous handy storage options and the main area can be divided into two with a simple fabric divider.

This is designed to cope in the harshest conditions and is built for strength rather than concerned with weight. With this in mind It's fairly easy to set up once you've had a little bit of practice but if you're pitching in harsh environments and expecting horrendous conditions it's always worth taking your time.

Construction & Materials

• Fly is Dominico® undyed polyester rip-stop made with high tenacity yarns which increase tear strength by 20-25% over standard rip-stop fabrics. Color is achieved using a unique pigmentation process in the polyurethane, which resists fading and increases UV resistance; extending the longevity of the fabric when used in high altitude conditions.
• Fly with 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating plus an additional polyurethane coating on the face of the fabric to increase tear strength and UV resistance.
• Tent body is polyester rip-stop breathable and polyester mesh
• Floor is polyester Oxford with a 5000mm polyurethane coating
• All seams taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape (No PVC or VOC's)
