The Dragonfly has received some welcome updates with shorter pole sections, a number of bike packing features along with a range of smaller tweaks.
Dragonfly™ Bikepack has a unique suite of features that make it the essential bikepacking shelter. It starts with the carry bag, an extremely durable diamond ripstop roll-top stuff sack featuring reinforcements and tiedown straps perfect for fastening to your bike. The poles are made of shortened segments that keep the packed size small. Dragonfly™ Bikepack securely attaches to your handlebars, under the seat, to any rack, or inside the frame, giving you lots of options and flexibility.
The tent itself uses premium materials and a tapered floorplan to save weight without sacrificing livable space. A large vestibule with our new Landing Zone™ storage tub offers plenty of gear organization and space to put riding gear out of the mud. The floor is made of ultralight 20D nylon and the 15D ripstop nylon fly is coated with both silicone and urethane for maximum strength and waterproofness. Thoughtful details like a webbing daisy chain above the door for drying clothing and large trapezoidal vestibules for maximum storage set this tent apart. Thanks to years of coating development and testing, Dragonfly™ Bikepack is able to offer flame resistance without the use of any toxic chemicals or restricted substances.

Nemo's Dragonfly Bikepack 2P Tent is designed to cater for the bike-pack market but in reality all of the changes in this design work just as well for hiking. The shorter pole sections make packing easier, the subtle colouration makes wild camping easier and the focus on lightweight design remains. The flysheet is still very high at one end which isn't ideal for conditions in the UK but it certainly keeps the weight down and when the conditions are on your side it does a great job in increasing ventilation.
The classic Dragonfly pole set up remains, keeping the weight at a minimum while providing an excellent amount of internal and vestibule space. As with most Nemo tents there is some handy storage as well as simple features to make setting up faster and easier. There are a number of other tweaks in the design to bring more welcome improvements such as changes to the pole set, reducing the section lengths, making it easier to pack onto your bike along with a more simplified, user friendly set up. This is a great bikepacking tent that provides excellent space for the low weight and this version is much nicer to use thanks to the well thought out changes.
