The updated Nemo Dagger 2P is a great tent for balancing weight and durability in a two person backpacking tent. An improved design makes it much easier to set up and use.
Dagger™ is the quintessential one-tent wonder: light enough for backpacking, yet roomy enough to comfortably wait out a rainstorm inside. This best-seller is updated with prebent poles to create more headroom, color-coded poles and webbing for intuitive set up, and several additional improvements to increase ventilation, convenience, and durability.
With two doors and two massive trapezoidal vestibules, Dagger™ has more area and volume for storage than any other tent in its price and weight category. It also has the unique Divvy™ dual-stage stuff sack, which allows you to split the load with a partner.

Nemo's Dagger 2P Backpacking Tent manages to keep the weight low while still giving you strong enough fabrics and plenty of space. It features dual doors and vestibules so you're not climbing over each other to get in and out. The vestibules are a sufficient size for storing packs and muddy boots, giving you more room in the inner tent for sprawling out after a long days hike.
The updated version sees improvements in poles for increased internal height, better venting to cut down on condensation plus a few other user friendly features that make setting up and using a much better experience, including colour coded points for the poles.
Once packed, the tent takes up minimal space and will fit easily in your pack. While the weight is not the lightest in its class, it is definitely light enough to carry on most trips, especially if you are sharing the load with a hiking partner or it can be worth a little additional weight if you're simply after a more luxurious inner space.
