Built strong to handle primitive camping and challenging weather, the Habitude 6 tent provides adventurous families with a spacious, standing-height shelter that comfortably sleeps six.
When outdoor adventure is part of your family’s DNA, the Habitude 6 tent is the perfect retreat for igniting that passion in the next generation. Built to handle kids and the rigors of primitive camping, this expansive, standing-height shelter comfortably sleeps six—perfect for canoe trips or basecamping for mountain bike rides. Easy to pitch, the extra-sturdy frame stands up to the unpredictable elements, and the tent’s limited mesh balances airflow and privacy. Though it’s built tough, the Habitude 6 offers creature comforts—like a porch light—that round out its incredible livability.
MSR's Habitude 6 Tent is built to be strong, durable and practical for family camping, sleeping up to 6 people. The simple pitching instructions mean this tent can quickly and easily go up while the durable fabrics ensure that even with regular use it will stand up to it. The pole set is colour coded for ease of use but more importantly, once set up it provides a solid shelter that can handle pretty unpleasant conditions. Obviously, at this weight and packsize it is a basecamp option best suited to camping sites with decent access but it is certainly worth the weight for what you get.
One seriously impressive aspect of this tent is the height. With a peak internal height of 195cm, it's big enough for nearly anyone to stand up straight in which is particularly useful when you're using the tent for extended periods or during poor weather. The massive vestibule is another highlight and the innovative 'porch light' is really good as it makes access on a night much easier for the whole family. This is a well thought out tent that's spacious, practical and great for family or group use.
