Nemo have updated the Kayu 15 Down Sleeping Bag and placed more down inside to keep you happy. It is still a high quality minimalist bag with some unique and useful features.
Updated for 2021, Kayu™ men’s and women’s ultralight down mummy bags are pinnacle equipment for ultralight adventures. Careful tailoring of the hood, footbox, and body-mapped core creates an optimal fit with no excess weight or wasted space. Premium 800FP down and aggressive, thermally efficient patterning, make for a trusted companion on longer journeys where every ounce matters.
Our flagship Thermo Gills™ allow you to regulate temperature without letting in drafts, deeply extending the useable temperature range. The waterproof/breathable footbox and hood protect from tent wall condensation. Our exceptionally packable 800 FP down is hydrophobic, PFC-free, and 100% Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified. Top shelf fabrics include a 20D nylon ripstop with DWR on the shell, an ultra-smooth 30D nylon taffeta lining, and a 40D nylon ripstop OSMO™ waterproof/breathable footbox.

Nemo's 2021 Kayu 15 Down Sleeping Bag has been updated but still retains the special features that made it a popular light-weight bag in the first place. Premium and responsibly sourced hydrophobic 800 fill power down gives an admirable warmth to weight ratio. A well thought out baffle along the nearly full length zip prevents heat loss.
A unique feature of this bag is the 'Thermo Gills' which are a pair of zips on the front of the bag allowing you vent a bit of heat out of the bag. It would probably be a bit tricky to find the zips in the dark but I'm sure practice would make perfect. Another excellent feature is the use of a waterproof material on the hood and footbox, the areas where you are most likely to get damp. The bag is high quality throughout with quite a slim mummy fit so could be quite constricted for broad users.
