Our Verdict
Mountain Equipment's Lunar I Synthetic Sleeping Bag is a great 2 season bag for those who favour the easier maintenance of synthetic bags over more expensive down bags. Synthetic sleeping bags retain heat even when wet making them more suited for use in wetter conditions whether that's sleeping out in the open or in a shelter thats suffering from condensation there is less to worry about with a synthetic bag.
There is a full length 2 way zip which is good for venting when the nights are warm. The 40 denier outer will be very durable. The mummy shape minimises heat loss, the addition of a neck baffle is a nice feature. Its easy to get the bag back into the supplied compression sack.
