The Trek'n Eat product range consists of complete meals, vegetarian meals, soups, vegetables and other diverse nutritional items from breakfast to dessert. All that is required to restore the freeze-dried ingredients is hot water.
Trek'N Eat says:
With that certain je-ne-sais-quoi, this dish offers you a flavor combination that is nothing short of unique. Creamy egg noodles are the successful foundation of this combo of spinach and chicken that fans of delicate spices and lighter fare will quickly make friends with. The hallmark of Trek’n Eat’s Creamy Pasta with Chicken and Spinach is the unusual interplay of the carefully selected ingredients that delights with its mild flavor profile. You’ll likely awake memories of home rather than far-away places. That makes this a dish for outdoor enthusiasts who like to be reminded of home-sweet-home.
Trek'N Eat offer unique freeze-dried foods that can be easily prepared with hot water. Of course staff were eager to try these and quickly found that they offered a great 'all natural' taste thanks to the fact they don't add preservatives, colourants, or flavour enhancing additives.
You will probably notice that most Trek'n Eat foods have a high calorie count of around 600 calories per package, this is to cover the increased energy consumption during sports activities. All the meals are packaged in waterproof resealable standing pouches which is ideal for those who might not finish all the food at once and don't want to leave a mess in your rucksack.

|9.0||MARK'S TASTE TEST - You need to add a lot more water than other Freeze Dried brands at 490ml but its ready a bit quicker at just 5 minutes. Although after the 5 minutes I tried the past and it needed another minute. Appearance-wise there was a lot of sauce, I expected it to be thicker but if that’s what it takes to reconstitute then fair enough. Taste was great, really nice 9/10, all components had reconstituted well, just the sauce was decidedly thin, there was a bit left to drink at the end – but yeah, pretty good.|
