The Sea to Summit Alpha Pots are lightweight, hard anodised alloy pots with a silicone grip stainless steel PIVOT-LOCK handle. The compact design makes them ideal for lightweight backpackers or family campers.
Sea to Summit says:
Our strong, lightweight and durable hard-anodised Alpha Pots bring performance and style to outdoor cookware. This versatile cookware range caters to a wide variety of users from extreme expeditioners and outdoor adventurers to family campers. Designed to be functional for solo to group use, the compact nesting Alpha Pots are compatible with Alpha Pans and our new DeltaLight range of camp dinnerware.
The Alpha Pot’s unique patent-pending Pivot-lock handle rotates horizontally locking in place for a secure and ergonomic grip when in use and folds away keeping the lid locked to the pot for low-profile storage. The hard-anodised surface provides a durable, abrasion resistant, smooth and easy-to-clean cooking surface while the straining lid has a unique hole pattern to facilitate easy drainage.
Made of a lightweight, hard-anodized alloy, the Sea to Summit Alpha pot features a polished internal surface that resists abrasion, is easy to clean and stands up to rugged outdoor use.
It's pretty compact thanks to it's weird but wonderful PIVOT-LOCK handle design. You just need to push and then slide the handle from the top of the pot, all the way out until it clicks into place, then push the Lock on top to keep it in locked. Sounds simple but I guarantee there will be a few of you who don't reed the packaging and try to lift the handle off the lid instead - like myself. But the design itself works really well when done right.
You get all the features you need from a cooking pot, plus it can nest with Sea to Summit Alpha Pot range and Delta Light dinnerware.
