We were the first company to introduce a compression dry sack to the market which does not use a purge valve. This innovation uses air permeable eVent® fabric on the base, which allows air to be pushed out of the sack, while stopping water getting in. This is a lighter, simpler and more reliable solution than a purge valve. The body is made of a tough 70D Polyurethane-coated fabric. It has a non-wicking roll-top closure like the rest of our dry sack range and a lid with four straps for even compression.

The Sea to Summit Event Compression Drysack is ideal for compressing your gear while keeping the contents dry. This valve-free dry sack uses a breathable base made of waterproof eVent fabric, which allows air to be pushed out, but keeps water from entering.
Waterproof seams are double stitched and fully taped for excellent durability and resistance to moisture. The roll-top Hypalon closure, lid and 3 straps evenly compresses and maintains the compressed size. It's lightweight and compact but if your wanting to save a little more weight in your pack then the Ultra-Sil Event Compression Dry Sack is also available, saving you up to 60 grams per dry sack.
