Sea to Summits TPU Guide Mapcase is big, absolutely watertight and it takes a karabiner so you can loop it round your shoulder strap for easy carrying and full accessibility.
Sea to Summit says:Made from TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane): This fully waterproof map case is exceptionally resistant to the demands of the trail. Totally welded construction and a super strong ziplock closure provides fully waterproof and dustproof performance.
The PVC-free TPU material is strong durable flexible and resistant to UV and extreme cold – so it can be folded numerous times for pocket storage without cracking or discolouring. Designed with a detachable neck strap and corner anchor points for versatility the Sea to Summit TPU Guide Map Case makes map reading a little bit quicker and easier than it used to be.
Sea to Summit's TPU Guide Mapcase has a good quality ziplock style waterproof closure that's lightweight - a better option than the traditional roll-top velcro fasteners, but it can be tough to open, a couple of grab points would have been ideal. I've been using one of these for a few years now and getting it open and closed is getting harder - I'm about to buy my second one to alleviate the problem.
The TPU Guide mapcase is about as light as you can get while still being transparent waterproof and tough. The TPU material also folds easily and the tough tabs in each corner will take a karabiner.
