EuroSchirm's Birdiepal Trekking Umbrellas offer the regular user a tough and reliable umbrella for protection against sun, wind and rain.
EuroSchirm says: The strongest trekking umbrella of the world -nearly unbreakable.
Birdiepal outdoor, the power umbrella, comes up to the highest expectations regarding stability and endurance. The shaft and the ribs of high quality, extra reinforced glass fibres are especially robust and sturdy. Even heavy showers and wind gusts cannot do any harm to the high-tech stick umbrella, for due to the high-quality materials and the perfect workmanship it safely withstands even extreme weather conditions. Even if, suddenly, the canopy turns inside out, the birdiepal outdoor will not be damaged. Close the umbrella by the safety slide and the canopy will retake its original shape undamaged.
Silver UV-light protective treatment option available:
The silver UV-light protective coating is especially recommended for the protection against sun and heat. It is almost completely resistant against harmful UV-radiation and offers a TÜV certified light protection factor of UPF 50+ (Australia/New Zealand Standard). In addition, the silver-metallic-coating reflects the heat very efficiently so that it is considerably cooler under the umbrellas with silver UPF 50+-coating than under umbrellas with a normal canopy.
EuroSchirm's Birdiepal Outdoor, umbrella is the tough option from the EuroSchirm range and therefore the heaviest (apart from the hands free unit). All the additional weight is in the materials and construction, ensuring that it won't let you down.
Trekking umbrellas are often under-valued, they provide protection from rain without having to compromise breathability - leaving you dry and comfortable. In hot climates they provide much needed shade and UV protection, which can be enhanced by the silver version of the umbrella. Just about the only time they are a pain to use is in windy conditions.
A comfortable handle and tough mechanism make the Birdiepal the one to go for if you anticipate a lot of use.
