EuroSchirm's Telescope Hands Free Trekking Umbrella is the compact companion for all who need to keep both hands completely free in the rain.
The telescope hands free is ideal for those who need to have their hands free in the rain: For hikers using trekking poles as well as for foresters or nature photographers. The special highlight: The glass fibre shaft is two-fold extendable up to 96 cm and can be fixed at any height by a small twisting movement to match the owner’s body height. By means of two accompanying fastening clips the shaft of the umbrella can be fixed left, right or diagonally to the backpack with hip belt and positioned to the direction of the rain or the sun.The elastic carrying strap at the umbrella serves as flexible fastening to the hip belt. When folded together the umbrella is very short and fits easily into a backpack or a bag. A further advantage: the hands free pocket trekking umbrella can also be used like a normal trekking umbrella.
Silver UV-light protective treatment option available:
The silver UV-light protective coating is especially recommended for the protection against sun and heat. It is almost completely resistant against harmful UV-radiation and offers a TÜV certified light protection factor of UPF 50+ (Australia/New Zealand Standard). In addition, the silver-metallic-coating reflects the heat very efficiently so that it is considerably cooler under the umbrellas with silver UPF 50+-coating than under umbrellas with a normal canopy.
EuroSchirm's Telescope Hands Free Trekking Umbrella is basically an upgraded version of the Swing Hands Free Trekking Umbrella but a much more compact version.
This hands free trekking umbrella is a bit of a masterpiece, utilising your rucksack hip belt and shoulder strap you can get all the advantages of a trekking umbrella without the hassle of carrying it! This leaves you with both hands free for using trekking poles or other stuff..
Trekking umbrellas are often under-valued, they provide protection from rain without having to compromise breathability - leaving you dry and comfortable. In hot climates they provide much needed shade and UV protection, which can be enhanced by the silver version of the umbrella. Just about the only time they are a pain to use is in windy conditions.
