The Revolution Glove is a waterproof, windproof and breathable defense against the elements. Although it is ideally suited to skiing it still works really well for almost all winter pursuits.
Outdoor Research says:
Mapped insulation, a waterproof/breathable Ventia™ insert and leather palms and fingers make the Revolution Gloves warm, durable and one of the best all-around performers on the hill.
Outdoor Research's Revolution Gloves are hard wearing and designed to work in challenging conditions. They are well insulated, windproof and have a breathable, waterproof Ventia fabric lining the inside. Externally, the leather palms extend around the finger tips to give a greater grip and increase durability. The DualCinch Gauntlet tightens across the wrist and at the cuff to help keep the elements out.
The Revolution does not sacrifice comfort with a nice fleece lining and soft nose-wipe fabric on the thumb. The removable leash and pull-on loop make using them easier in cold conditions and reduces that familiar struggle of getting them back on when your hands are wet. Despite their obvious skiing design they have worked well for me in cold, wet British conditions.
