A great waterproof cap that is ultralight, stretchy and comfortable. The increased breathability make this even better for running in but it works well as an emergency cap to have in your pack just in case the weather changes.

Our Verdict
OMM's 2017 Kamleika Cap uses the new and improved Kamleika fabric which has become softer, stretchier and more comfortable with each new outing. It doesn't feel like traditional waterproof material, in fact, it doesn't feel waterproof at all. However, it is waterproof and it works really well with an increased level of breathability in this version.
The cap is a classic, simple design with an elasticated rim and basic draw cord at the back. There is a stiffened peak to this and it is flexible enough to stuff into your pocket or bag. I used the L/XL size and found it a little tight once I'd heated up and been running for a while. I know I've got a big head when it comes to hats and caps but I felt that the peak dug in to my forehead too much for me to take this on longer distances. The material is soft, stretchy, waterproof and breathable so it is a great cap but bear in mind the sizing.
