A high performance waterproof glove to add to your kit. They work well on their own or over another glove. The Kamleika fabric is stretchy, breathable and waterproof so they are perfect for wearing during more intense activities in the rain.
OMM says
Kamleika overmitts are made with our stretch knitted fabric with a PU membraine to give waterproofness and breatability. They also benefits from 37.5 Tehnology particles which help regulate temperature and moisture management.
Our Verdict
OMM's Kamleika Overmitts are an excellent addition to the Kamleika series as they continue the trend of products with a fantastic low weight. They don't offer much insulation so its main purpose is to keep your hands dry and comfortable.
For such a light and seemingly thin material they do an awesome job of keeping out the rain. They are perfect to use as an outer layer to weather proof more basic gloves or to stash in a pocket for emergencies.
It's important to note that each size mitt has a different coloured trim; green for small, blue for medium and red for large. Not sure why OMM have done this as most people don't carry more than one size with them to mix up. But at least it doesn't effect the performance.
