Ortlieb's Rackpack is a lightweight, tough, waterproof holdall which is ideal for travelling, various sports and storing wet kit.
In keeping with its commitment to innovation, ORTLIEB has just introduced another PVC-free line of products made of a polyurethane-coated polyester fabric. The base fabric of the products in the Free Line is coated with polyurethane in a manner that ensures lasting waterproof qualities. The result is a waterproof and durable canvas material that is as outstanding as the conventional ORTLIEB canvas material when it comes to durability and service life. The products in the Free Line are available in classic black and two other appealing colors.
The PVC-free version of the universal travel and sports bag: the ORTLIEB Rack-Pack Free can be easily combined with Back-Rollers and Sport-Rollers on your rear bike rack. The durable, waterproof Rack-Pack is also cherished among motorcycle and canoe enthusiasts. The large opening makes it easier to access the bag’s interior. The bag’s large payload and volume adjustability – thanks to its compression belts and roll closure – add even more convenience. The removable, padded shoulder belt and carabiners increase the Rack-Pack’s comfort and practicality.
Ortlieb's Rack Pack Free 31L is a 100% waterproof, tough travel bag that can be used for anything from carry on luggage to cycle touring. The lightweight bag offers a large single compartment and has 2 horizontal compression straps to clinch in any excess material to prevent your kit from moving around in transit.
It has a wide top opening which allows easy access and closes by using a roll top closure with stiffener bar like many dry bags. Once packed and rolled down, each end can be fastened in place via a plastic snap lock buckle. It has a removable, easily adjustable, over the shoulder carry strap which also has a floating and removable padded load bearing section. The strap is on pivoting hooks, meaning it is unlikely to twist. It also has 2 large attached carry handles to make transporting it even easier. Now PVC-free.
