A very lightweight and minimalist pack that can be rolled down to almost nothing and stored in your main pack for day pack use or as a lightweight summit pack.

Outdoor Research says: This waterproof ultra-lightweight 18 liter pack comes with it's own stuff sack, and when it's stowed, it's smaller than a can of beer (or a small coffee, if that's more your thing). Carry it for side trips from base camp, or keep it inside your overnight pack to keep your camera dry during a downpour.

Outdoor Research's Dry Isolation Pack really does go down to almost nothing with the stuffsack you get with the pack. The stuffsack isn't actually attached to the bag so make sure to stash it inside the pack whenever you're using it.

The straps are wide which add a lot of comfort to the pack, which can be lacking in other similar packs. But they're lacking any sort of padding which will restrict the weight you can comfortably carry in this pack.

The waterproofing is excellent and when the top closure is rolled over enough times the pack is practically air tight.
