When you are heading out for a long run and need spare layers, extra snacks or fluids, the Race Elite is an excellent pack for the job. Lightweight, durable and comfortable for a range of activities.

Our Verdict
Inov8's Race Elite Waist Pack is a minimalist pack that keeps the weight low but allows enough storage for a spare layer, fluids and snacks for those longer runs. With a 3L capacity in the main pocket and a stretch mesh pocket on the outer combined with compression straps along the top and you get a versatile and practical piece of kit.
The back of the pack uses a layered mesh to maximise breathability and keep you comfortable for longer. The waist straps can be easily adjusted on the move and does a great job of reducing bounce in the pack when you're running. This is definitely one of those bits of kit that you use a lot more than expected as it is so light yet so handy for hitting the trails in changeable conditions or heading out for longer runs than normal.
