Simple and unpretentious, Patagonia's trusted Torrentshell 3L Jacket uses 3-layer H2No Performance Standard technology for exceptional waterproof/breathable performance, all-day comfort and long-lasting waterproof durability.

Patagonia says:

Stay dry in less-than-ideal conditions in our Torrentshell Jacket. Using H2No™ Performance Standard technology to provide long-term comfort and protection in soaking storms and steady drizzles. The 3-layer jacket has a 100% recycled nylon face fabric, a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, a tricot backer for next-to-skin comfort, and self-stuffs into left-hand pocket (with a carabiner clip-in loop). An adjustable hood with laminated visor can easily roll up and stow with a simplified cord-and-hook design. The center front zipper has interior and exterior storm flaps; pit zips and hand warmer pockets all have storm flaps and DWR-treated zippers. With a microfleece-lined neck, self-fabric hook-and-loop cuff closures and a drawcord hem.

Patagonia's Torrentshell 3L Waterproof Jacket has had a significant upgrade with 3 layer waterproof fabric now providing a more durable high performance. They still use 100% recycled face fabric but the overall upgrade is pretty impressive when you're out in heavy rain for prolonged periods. This is still a hardwearing, all-rounder this is great to use and gives you reliable protection from the elements.

Amazing value for money in a jacket that gives you an adjustable hood, hem and cuffs, two decent sized pockets and a clever storm flap design to keep out all of the elements. A durable 50D fabric gives you a hard wearing jacket that will be comfortable in most environments.

The Torrentshell provides a great package of good looks, great price and practical features that have made it my everyday jacket. Any waterproof that survives Patagonia's famous 'Killer Wash' is going to give you the protection you want for a long time. Designed to perform and last this jacket also looks great whether you're in the hills or around town.
