Highly versatile, the Tingri Jacket is perfect for when the weather starts to turn colder, whether you’re heading for the hills or just popping out to the pub.
Sherpa Adventure Gear says:
A town in southern Tibet. It is often used as a base by mountain climbers preparing to ascend Everest and Cho Oyu. Also used to be an important trading post where Sherpas from Nepal traded for Tibetan wool, livestock and salt.
An all-season jacket made from upgraded 100% polyester high-pile fleece, its features include a stash chest pocket for storing your valuables and two zipped pockets on the outside. The jacket also has a low-profile media port and handy earbud guides for when you want to stay connected. Worn over a base layer, the Tingri will keep you warm and comfortable all day long, whether you’re hiking the trails or hitting the shops.
The heathered fleece that makes up this versatile Sherpa Jacket is very high pile meaning the jacket works extremely well as an insulating layer, protecting the wearer from the elements. The 35% cotton weave and 65% polyester overlays on the exposed areas (back and shoulders) are protected by a durable water-repellent treatment and wax finish and the remainder of the jacket is 100% polyester in order to retain as much warmth as possible.
Feature-wise there's one button chest pocket and two zippered hand pockets for keeping gear safe and your hands warm.
