This is a top quality, super comfortable, amazingly warm and versatile piece of clothing. An ideal base layer in cold conditions or mid layer for more extended use of the Bergtagen Woolterry.

Fjällräven's Bergtagen Woolterry Hoodie weighs in at a pretty substantial 330g but for such a comfortable, warm piece it can easily be worth the weight. It has a luxurious feel to it with thick, high lofted merino providing a soft and very warm layer. It works better as a base layer in cold conditions but it still works as a mid layer over a thin t-shirt too.

The soft feel of the merino on the inside design helped by a ribbed design to give you a lot more warmth than usual. The lofted material and air space within makes it feel much more breathable when working up a sweat in the mountains too. With lighter, more breathable strips running up the sides and under the arms it really helps with temperature management and breathability.
