Montane's Extreme range is designed to provide superior warmth in cold conditions but also to keep the user as comfortable as possible with excellent wicking capabilities.

The Montane Extreme Jacket is designed to be a no-nonsense ultra-tough fleece lined softshell designed to be worn next to the skin - or over a thin baselayer - in winter conditions. Without the flexibility of a layering system the Extreme jacket is designed to be vented by the wearer when its considerable insulation is not fully required.  

Although a heavy garment it is virtually indestructable and will therefore be first choice where reliability is of paramount importance.
