Haglofs' Sarna Mimic Hood Insulated Jacket is a warm synthetic jacket that is ideal for changeable conditions. The 176g of Haglofs own Mimic Gold insulation provides a good amount of warm that, unlike down, is still able to retain heat and keep you warm if it gets wet. The Sarna has a range of nice features that make it really good value for money.

This jacket is very functional for cold weather. It is great as an everyday outer layer and handles damp weather well due to the DWR treated face. It is equally capable in a wilderness environment with a snug fitting hood for when the weather turns inclement. It’s pack size however isn’t as small or light as its down counterpart but it doesn’t have the same price-tag as down either.
