The Lithang Jacket is a lightweight, waterproof, breathable shell with stretch for comfort during movement. An incredibly soft feeling shell, both inside and out.
|Lithang is a town in the Kham Region of Eastern Tibet. Located at an altitude of 4,014 m (13,169 ft), it's one of the highest towns in the world, and home to several famous Buddhist figures.|
The grasslands of Lithang County, in southwestern Tibet, are surrounded by high mountains – and the weather can change in a heartbeat. When it does, you want to be wearing this hard shell jacket. Made of our own Himaltec®, a 3-layer stretch laminate made of 100% polyester with a 100% nylon backing, it will keep you dry and warm when the elements are wet and cold. And there's stretch built right in, so you will feel unrestricted as you hike, climb, and trek through whatever the weather brings you.
The Sherpa Lithang Jacket is a very soft feeling (both inside and out) yet durable shell that's constructed from Himaltec fabric. Himaltec gives you excellent waterproof protection but still breathes so you stay dry and warm in all weather conditions.
Whats unique about this jacket (other than its incredibly soft fabric) is the antique brass zips. These were inspired by the Himalayas and pay tribute to their heritage.
The jacket features plenty of storage pockets - 2 large chest pockets and 2 even bigger hand warmer pockets. Who needs to carry a pack when you have pockets this big?
