Lightweight, seriously warm and packed full of innovative ideas to keep you comfortable. The combination of hydrophobic down, synthetic insulation and reflective lining means that this jacket is ideal for staying out longer this winter.
Say hello to the real front runner of cold conditions. Packed with super lightweight, heat storing Hydrodown® and body-mapped with Hydroloft® for unrivalled performance, you’ll stay warm in the harshest conditions. It has heat trapping Reflect technology that directs valuable body heat back where you need it most. With less bulk it’s easy to wear and highly durable for those days when you test your mettle.
Berghaus' Arkos Reflect Down Jacket uses an impressive combination of materials to create a seriously warm jacket for cold conditions. The jacket uses a blend of down and synthetic insulation giving you warmth, packability and performance for mixed conditions. This is then lined with a reflective heat lining which, Berghaus claims manages to keep you 20% warmer. It's always hard to measure this but the jacket is impressively warm, probably down to a combination of all of these features.
The Arkos is a big jacket and would be ideal for use at basecamp or for wearing when you simply need to keep yourself warm. There are some nice additional features such as the harness/waistbelt compatible pockets, inner stretch cuffs, stiffened peak and articulated arms so it works well for a range of activities. It also uses bluesign approved fabrics and PFC Free DWR for a more positive environmental outcome.
