The Cirrus Vest is a quick-drying insulated gilet for easy-access warmth during winter walks and cold days at the crag. Designed as a mountain all-rounder, it features a tightly woven recycled 30D Pertex® Quantum shell with DWR coating for excellent resistance to wind and weather. It also features new recycled high-loft Cirrus HL insulation for reliable warmth and protection when wet. Developed with the use of thermal imaging, Cirrus HL’s down-like polyester structures are twice as durable as standard Cirrus insulation for all-day core warmth without clumping or cold spots. The Cirrus Vest features elasticated armholes and an adjustable hem for an active fit, as well as harness-friendly handwarmer pockets, with a built-in stuff sack for rapid layering in changeable weather.

Rab's Cirrus Insulated Vest is impressively versatile. It's insulated with new Cirrus HL which is 100% recycled material. It still acts to mimics the look and performance of down while maintaining warmth, even when wet. This makes it ideal for outdoor use in the damp, changeable conditions regularly encountered in the UK. This new HL material is warmer than the original and should be more durable, even with heavy use.
This vest is ideal for wearing as an outer in mild conditions or for layering up in colder times. Recycled 30D Pertex Quantum for the outer looks and feels great and performs really well too. The stitch-through baffle construction ensures that the moisture-repelling insulation doesn't spread or bunch, preventing cold spots from forming. In terms of features, it has lycra bound elasticated armholes and hem drawcord, 1 zipped internal security pocket for handy essentials and 2 large zipped hand warmer pockets.
