A smaller handlebar bag with a load of great features. Safe, secure and waterproof this bag is easy to use and perfectly designed for bike touring. The simple and accessible transparent lid makes a huge difference with navigation in particular.

The transparent flap compartment with an internal dimension of 21 x 12 cm offers you an entirely waterproof and easy-access space for your smartphone, GPS device, map and other items. And, yes, you can also operate your touchscreen devices through the plastic cover. You can easily open and close the magnetic clasp with one hand. Thanks to the detachable shoulder straps, you can transform your handlebar bag into a practical shoulder bag whenever you like. You can also lock the flap of the bag and the handlebar mount for maximum security.
Ortlieb's Ultimate 6S Plus Handlebar Bag with Magnetic Lid is a perfect little addition to the range. At 5 litres this is a great size for all those essentials that you might need access to and the magnetic lid is great for simplifying that access. The newer style Cordura fabric looks great and shaves off a decent amount of the weight compared to the Classic range. This is not without compromise with cost increasing and durability suffering slightly. The mounts are easy to use and it can easily be locked to the bike with the lid securely fastened too.
The transparent lid is waterproof and has a foam back which is easily accessible and can accommodate maps (folded to a reasonable size), a GPS or smart phone which can be used through the material really easily making this great when your trying to navigate new routes. There is also a zip pocket inside to keep things organised and it comes with a shoulder strap so you can easily carry it away from the bike although it is pretty uncomfortable like this.
