The Kunai 2P footprint from Nemo is made from tough 75D fabric, its the correct size and with the correct fixings for easy convenient use.
When it comes to tent longevity, we've got you covered. The Kunai Footprint is not for waterproofness; NEMO floors already are impenetrable to water. Rather it protects your tent floor when camping on rough surfaces, adding longevity to your tent. Made of 75D PU Polyester, it stands up to gravely and sharp surfaces that can take a toll on your tent. It packs small in an included breathable mesh pouch with a drawstring.

Nemo's Kunai 2P Footprint is designed to be used in conjunction with the tent and since the Kunai is designed for more challenging environments it makes sense to have the option of added protection when you need it from a footprint.
Our recommendation is to use a footprint if you expect to be camping on rough stony ground - Corsica's GR20 is a good example of this, and leave it at home if you are not. Some footprints have other uses, such as being able to pitch just the flysheet and footprint together as an ultralight shelter - so in this case the footprint provides you with increased flexibility in your shelters.
