The Trango 3 is the go-to choice for many mountaineering guide services due to it's solid performance and value. Very spacious and weather resistant.
Mountain Hardwear says:
First introduced in 1995, Trangos have become standard issue for mountaineering expeditions year-round. Teardrop-shaped front and rear doors conveniently tuck away, welded loops for securing the fly and a bathtub-style floor for better weather protection.
We give the Mountain Hardwear Trango 3 Tent 10 points out of 10 because of its strong design, quality poles, bomber construction, excellent guyline points, and solid fly-to-pole connection method that only increases the strength of this tent.
It's very spacious - four people can squeeze inside the tent and its not even that cramped. There are three gigantic pockets on each side and four in the ceiling, all providing a decent amount of storage space.
The large hooped vestibule is great for cooking but also easily stores three full backpacks, leaving enough room for its occupants to get in and out.
