The Exped Mars II Extreme Tent is a freestanding tunnel tent offering spacious dimensions for tall sleepers! The steep side walls increase living space and there is practical storage space at the foot end.
Mars II Extreme is a free standing tunnel tent with steep side walls and dual vestibules. It features generous dimensions easily accommodating users over 1.90 m tall to sleep and sit in comfort. The front vestibule offers a wind protected area and the rear vestibule holds gear or is a great spot for your dog.
The smaller back door can be used as emergency exit, to increase ventilation or as lookout window.
||||This tent is one of Exped's EXPEDITION tents - Safety and confidence at high altitude and stormy conditions is the focus here. Strategic pole crossings, flat pole sleeves, efficient geometry and the highest quality materials give Exped tents the stability and strength to withstand the most severe conditions. Designed for, and tested in the wildest regions on earth; windy Patagonia, the high Himalaya, savage Alaska and both poles.|
Exped's Mars II Extreme Tent is one of the heaviest tents we stock at nearly 3000 grams. The extra weight is from steep side walls and a longer than normal internal length.
It won't appeal to the ultralight enthusiasts but for those who don't mind the little extra weight you will get a more durable tent with a larger living space. Plus if you divide up the tent between two people it will make it easier to carry. Team work makes the dream work!
