The Oppland is an impressively spacious tent with a classic design. It's amazing how Nordisk have kept such a low weight with such a large inner and vestibule. It makes this a great option for a versatile tunnel tent.
Oppland 2 LW is the ultimate spacious 2 person tent. A sleek yet classic tunnel construction and three main poles in concealed inner pole channels, offers great strength and wind stability. The ultimate rip-stop 10D Nylon fabric is the strong frame for this great combination - still at a low weight for only 1650g The spacious floor plan offers you separate storage space or living area is weather conditions forces you to stay inside. The additional footprint offers extra safety and comfort for protecting your inner tent and keeping your porch area dry. Two ventilations ensure optimal airflow. Oppland 2 LW is equipped with high grade DAC aluminium poles and minimalistic Nordisk Triple Twister Pegs and is easy to pitch and take down.
Nordisk's Oppland 2 LW Tent builds on the classic tunnel tent design with a three pole set up. These three poles are particularly stable in higher winds while still allowing lots of internal space. This model has a large inner cabin and huge vestibule that makes it much more enjoyable to use in poor conditions. The tent pitches in one with the inner already attached, this is a real bonus in wet conditions. The inner cabin is spacious enough for two plus kit. The vestibule is huge and certainly provides enough space to store kit, cook or simply shelter under when the weather isn't great.
The tent uses super lightweight, 10D silicone treated nylon for the fly sheet combined with a thicker 20D PU coated floor. This is one of the main factors that have allowed Nordisk to keep the weight down to a minimum. It is a great option if you are heading out into the wild with someone else as you get a super light but spacious shelter. However, if you are going to be pitching it on hard or rocky ground I would recommend a footprint as durability is sacrificed somewhat for the light weight.
