The versatility of the Wing Tarp means that is designed to provide loads of additional space for front opening tents while still providing versatility so it can be used as a stand alone shelter. The PU material is great for regular use and provides excellent value for money.
The Wing is a universal shelter with a catenary cut. It can be combined with most tents to provide an entrance area protected from the elements. It can also be set up on its own as ultra light weather protection. Reinforced tie-out loops and cords with the tension locks make the wing very stable. The wing is offered in two different materials. Depending upon your needs, you can chose between the less expensive Travel Line and the lighter Zero G Line. The wing comes with a shock-corded aluminium pole (150cm) and a set of stakes. We offer poles of various lengths in our accessories.

Wechsel's Wing TL Tarp is designed to work with a tent to provide a large, additional vestibule style space or as a more traditional tarp shelter. With the wing shape you get 8 reinforced points with guy lines attached that can also be pegged or guyed out to provide plenty of different options depending on what you need.
This shape allows you to use it with a front opening tent and although it is tricky at first it is well worth it for the extra space you get from it. Alternately, you can fashion a shelter from the elements to cook or camp under in a more basic tarp style. The number of points you can use to get the best shape and protection is the best feature of this tarp. This is a PU tarp which means that it is nylon treated with polyurethane on one side. This means that it is a fair bit heavier than SI treated versions but also a lot less expensive.
