A tent that packs in a lot of features, for those backpackers who want a more liveable space when out on the trail.
Marmot says:
Your home away from home in the hills, the Limelight 2P is a roomy tent made so by pre-bent poles that add space without adding weight. An extra wide door makes it easy to get your stuff setup while kneeling in the vestibule, and double vestibules give you room to store packs (or a wet dog).
An incredibly spacious tent, the vertical walls and huge doors really give a more homely impression than most backpacking tents. The pre-bent poles and strategic clip system give a large box-like liveable space, vertical walls and the large floor area mean you get a lot of sleeping space, and that all of the area is usable, unlike most tents that have tapered walls. You get a lot of headroom and 2 adults can easily sit up in the tent without brushing up against the sides. This results in it not feeling claustrophobic, especially if you are confined due to bad weather. Its very simple to pitch, and as it comes with the foot print included, which adds value to the tent. The interior of the tent has small gear storage pockets, a laundry line to hang gear or clothing, it even has a lamp shade pocket.
