The Nordisk Oppland 2 SI is a spacious and lightweight 3 season tent with an extended porch. Suited to backpacking, cycle touring and base camping.

Oppland 2 is the ideal tent if you are looking for something compact without compromising on comfort and the need for storage space. The aerodynamic tunnel construction adds great wind stability, and makes it easy to erect. Oppland 2 has a large vent at the front and rear which provides optimal airflow, securing an excellent indoor climate when the weather leaves no choice but to stay indoor. The apsis provides plenty of room for storage and cooking, and can even be turned into an extra living area if used together with the matching footprint.
Our Verdict
The Oppland 2 SI is very easy to pitch and pack down again, and has multiple ventilation options to ensure the most optimal inner climate. The tunnel shaped aerodynamic construction and DAC poles provide excellent strength, while the large porch provides multiple access points and plenty of room for cooking and storing kit.
The Oppland can endure winds of up to 25m/sec without breaking and has a hydrostatic head of 3000mm for the flysheet and 10000mm for the groundsheet. With a generous living space and large front porch it's ideal for 2 people to use in comfort or for 1 person to camp in luxury.
