The Fjallglim Shirt is a long-sleeved shirt with button-down collar in functional polyester flannel. Featuring two breast pockets, one with a flap and the other with a zip.
Lightweight and warm trekking shirt with a wide fit. Made of functional polyester flannel which provides excellent insulation, expels moisture and dries quickly. This means the shirt is ideal for activities such as hiking and skiing, both as a base layer closest to the body and as a warm mid layer worn over under garments.
Two breast pockets, one of which is zipped for storing valuables. The sleeves can be rolled up and kept in place with a button.
Fjällräven's Fjallglim Shirt looks good and feels good against your skin thanks to the hollow fibre polyester flannel. It works really well as a baselayer or as a mid layer due to the comfort fit. The synthetic fibers in this shirt helps to keep you cool and dry by wicking sweat really well. In colder conditions the lofted fibres allow it to retain more warmth so it is a great piece of kit for year-round use.
It is obviously a well designed and well made shirt but one thing I'm not a fan of is the double pocket. Overlaying the side access zip pocket with another open pocket just seems pointless as you'd never use them both at the same time anyway. Overall a comfortable, high performing and stylish shirt that is technical enough for hiking, travelling or simply as a casual top wearing to the pub.
