Exped's Spica two person tunnel tent uses robust fabrics and copious guying out points to produce a tough, stable tent that will have a long life.
Exped says: Lightweight and aerodynamic 2 person tunnel tent.

This tent is one of Exped's 3 Season TREKKING tents - Tents designed for moderate and warm climate zones featuring large mesh panels for enhanced ventilation. The grey mesh is inconspicuous and allows panoramic views. Large vestibules offer ample dry storage space. High doors enable easy access to the inner tent. Globetrotters and hikers will enjoy the low weights combined with generous living space.
Exped's Spica II UL is a two skin tunnel tent that that doesn't compromise on durability. Many of the lightest tents that we sell have been produce with 7 Dernier fabrics, which, while being strong and waterproof are not as resistant to UV radiation than heavier fabrics. The Spica, is made from 15 Dernier fabrics so it should have a longer life than a 7 Dernier tent.
What's more The Spica has a 40 Dernier floor with a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head - this is one of the highest rating you'll find on any lightweight tent so you are fully protected from the ground - and it uses 9mm aluminium poles, again, a tougher proposition than some lighter tents.
The Spica has a large number of guying points, 4 in front and 4 at the rear, this means it can be pitched taught to give it a high wind resistance.
The Spica is not particularly spacious (about average for a two person tent) and weighs a bit more than our lightest tents - but you can see why - longer life, greater pitching options and slightly heavier fabrics.
