Our Verdict
Gregory's Zulu 55 Rucksack uses a combination of durable but lightweight 210D fabrics combined with well padded straps to provide a very comfortable pack capable of carrying a load of 18kg. The range of innovative features included on this pack make it particularly user friendly. This isn't the lightest pack, weighting in at just over 1.63kg, but with all the features and the level of comfortable many will find this worthwhile.
The pack is full of practical features that make using it enjoyable. From the U-shaped zip opening that allows easy access to the main compartment to the hydration sleeve, sunglasses quick stow and trekking pole attachments through to the array of mesh and zip pockets this pack gives you loads of options to make life on the trails simpler. Every aspect of this pack shows how well made it is, with comfortable shoulder straps, the zoned use heavy duty 630D fabrics on the base giving you an impressively hard wearing piece of kit and the little extras that are all well thought out and well made.
