Quench your thirst for adventure! Love waking up in another place every morning, knowing that you and your friends have another amazing day of cycling ahead? With this waterproof welded frame bag made from PVC-free tarpaulin material, you'll soon find a place to lay your head. The easy access packsack with 8 liter carrying capacity is ideal for heavier gear like tools, stove or provisions thanks to its low center of gravity. The 2 lower attachment straps can be removed, the packsack is length-adjustable and can be attached to bikes with rear suspension. Other attachment straps are connected with rubberized bands to the top tube. This product is made with Eco Finish, an eco-friendly, fluorocarbon-free, water-repellent finish (PFC-free). The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials.
Vaude's Trailframe Frame Pack is a simple, no frills piece of kit that works amazingly well. With four simple points of contact for attaching to your frame there are two heavy weight straps for the top tube and two buckles on material straps for the down tube and seat tube. There are reinforcements in all the places you need them making this a hard wearing pack. The main opening for the bag is a simple roll top closure with buckle meaning that it's easier securing your kit by rolling it to the appropriate size.
There is a decent sized zip opening along the top of the right hand side which allows you to access kit without having to remove the whole pack from the frame or root around awkwardly through the roll top closure. The tarpaulin material feels lightweight but it is much more durable than expected. I'm not the most delicate or careful with kit at the end of of a long day riding and the Vaude packs have all stood up to my punishment pretty well so far.
