The updated Kamleika Shorts are more comfortable, more breathable and more waterproof. The change in fabric makes these a much better running short when you want added protection from the elements.

Waterproof overshorts ensure water is carried past the bottom of the jacket and away from key areas where moisture and increased friction is not wanted. Our unique super stretch fabric combined with stretch seams and minimal seam construction allows you to move freely so even without the rain they are a sensible mixed weather option and a great wind barrier.
Our Verdict
OMM's Kamleika Shorts use the new and improved Kamleika fabric which has become softer, stretchier and more comfortable with each new outing. It doesn't feel like traditional waterproof material, in fact, it doesn't feel waterproof at all. However, it is waterproof and it works really well with an increased level of breathability in this version.
They feel like normal shorts, soft and comfortable, with the added benefit of being waterproof which, when you consider the improved breathbility and the natural ventilation, make them an excellent pair of shorts for wet conditions. Along with the increased breathability and stretch they've managed to include a decent sized mesh pocket on the inside which can easily hold a couple of gels, keys or whatever else you might want to keep on you.
