Nordisk Telemark 2 LW Tent

The Nordisk Telemark 2 LW is one of the lightest double layer 2 person tents on the market, with a small pack size it's ideal for backpackers.

The technical construction and the choice of state-of-the-art fabrics and components has made Telemark 2 one of the most advanced tents in the world, and it is available with aluminium or carbon poles for lower weight.

Every gram counts when back packing and while many modern back packing tents tip the scales at less than 1000 grams, not all of them are practical to use in challenging weather. The Telemark 2 LW is a spacious yet lightweight 2 man tent made from strong, lightweight fabrics and components that can withstand wind speeds of up to 17.5 m/sec. What makes it unique is that it has a large vestibule for storage of gear and the whole tent can be erected in under 4 minutes with a little practice.

The Telemark 2 comes in 2 versions, the model featured here is the lightweight (LW) model, which weighs in at 932 grams (excluding pegs) and uses aluminium poles. There is also an ultra lightweight (ULW) version that weighs in at 898 grams (excluding pegs) and uses aluminium poles. Depending on how important weight is to you, you could save yourself a few bob with the LW version or save on weight with the ULW version.
