Ultimate Direction's Ultra Belt 5.0 is perfect for long days on the trails. With two 500ml soft bottles included there is a decent amount of hydration available for longer runs. However, you can easily leave one of the bottles and add extra kit to the pouch as the drawcord top still keeps things pretty secure.
There is one main compartment that zips closed and it is big enough for a shell jacket and phone plus other accessories. The seasoned ultra runner/racer will probably be able to fit their entire mandatory kit in this belt but for mere mortals this is a good sized belt for longer runs. It is really comfortable to wear, even when fully loaded, with the micro mesh allowing sweat to wick and edges covered with soft material. The adjustablility of the Velcro belt strap is a massive plus and has made this vest my go-to kit for long runs in the hills.
