Using MALA STRETCH fabric, which has been developed for optimum comfort, and with the perfect balance of wind and water resistance, the Ineo Tough Pants have the addition of abrasion resistant Granite Extreme reinforcements on the knees and seat, making these pants ideal for multiday trekking and rock climbing.
Our Verdict
A staple of Montane's line for the past few seasons, these new and updated Ineos are tough and breathable trousers that offer a perfect balance of wind and water resistance.
Predominantly made with Mala stretch material yet reinforced with Granite Extreme at the knees and seat of the trouser, they offer a good balance between freedom of movement and ruggedness, comfort, and security.
They have been treated with a strong DWR which helps the trouser shrug off moderate to light rain and helps them dry out very quickly if they get truly soaked.
The waistband is semi-elasticated, so you get a very nice comfortable fit, that allows for a good deal of movement, they can also be cinched with a drawcord.
