Our Verdict
Gregory’s Alpaca Gear Pod 5 is built for durable, organised storage. With a 5-litre volume and rigid foam-reinforced sides, it stacks easily and stands upright even when empty. The coated mesh lid provides a clear view of the contents and opens wide without collapsing, making loading straightforward. The burly 600D recycled polyester outer and padded base give it a robust feel. Dual zip sliders glide smoothly, and the low-profile grab handle stays out of the way in transit. At 178g, it’s light for the protection it provides. It doesn’t compress down like soft-sided cubes, but the structure is a benefit if you value clean stacking, visibility, and shape retention.
