Our Verdict
At 6,194 g (excluding pegs and bags), the Aurora Highrise 4P is designed for car campers or base camp setups where livability takes priority. The interior stands out thanks to its vertical sidewalls and a 190 cm peak height, making full standing room possible throughout the tent. With 5.8 m² of floor space, there’s enough room to spread out, especially for two or three. Four adults can fit, though it may feel tight with gear inside.
Setup is straightforward, aided by colour-coded poles and an intuitive layout. The large mesh ceiling and four-panel windows create consistent airflow, even with the fly on, while the dual doors and vestibules improve both access and storage. The windows can be closed from inside, which adds to weather control without leaving the tent.
Materials feel robust, particularly the 150D polyester floor and aluminium frame. The tent held up well in wind and heavy rain, though careful pegging is important to maintain full rainfly coverage at the windows.
