Our Verdict
The updated L.I.M Fuse II Shorts from Haglöfs keep things clean and focused, shedding any extras in favour of pure functionality. They're impressively light at 144g (medium), with a Climatic Lite fabric that stretches well and dries quickly after a wet scramble or sweaty climb. The updated fit feels more refined than the original Fuse, with a better cut through the hips and thigh that allows a full range of motion.
The elasticated waistband, paired with a snap and fly, stays comfortable all day, and the fabric holds up nicely under a pack. The pocket layout is subtle but functional—two hand pockets and a low-profile thigh pocket, all with secure zip closures.
