Our Verdict
Light, tough, and built for movement, the Haglöfs L.I.M. Mountain Trail 25 strikes a careful balance between speed and substance.
TheL.I.M. Mountain Trail 25 impressed me straight away with its clean design and well-thought-out features. At just over 600g, including the rain cover, it keeps things light without skimping on usability. The 3D-moulded back panel feels like a real step forward, offering noticeably better ventilation on sweaty ascents, while still sitting close enough to stay stable at pace.
The 25-litre capacity spot on for longer day hikes where you need a little extra gear, and the stretchy front and side pockets are perfect for stashing a waterproof or snacks on the go. The hydration bladder sleeve and axe/pole loops are welcome touches that make the pack versatile across different conditions. The front zip pocket was tight when the main compartment was full, but it's a minor quibble given the overall layout. While the hipbelt is quite minimal, it’s enough to add a bit of extra stability without getting in the way.
