Our Verdict
Polartec Power Grid fleece strikes a good balance between warmth and airflow, especially when you’re working hard. The long half-zip vents heat quickly, and I’ve found the fit to be trim without feeling restrictive. It’s smooth enough for next-to-skin wear, and the flat seams prevent chafing under a harness or pack. The bonded chest pocket is slim but functional, and the fabric dries quickly if you sweat through it. It would be ideal for spring ascents and fastpacking.
