Reinforced for durability and featuring user-friendly adjustments, they’re ideal for all-mountain, all-weather use.
Our Verdict
The Rab Storm Gloves combine a Porelle Dry waterproof membrane with Stratus insulation to deliver dependable protection from the wind and rain. The pre-curved fit feels natural, providing good dexterity for handling poles or adjusting kit, while the PU palm offers a secure grip in slippery conditions. They stay impressively dry in the rain, thanks to a soft lining that remains comfortable for long periods. Breathability is reasonable for a fully waterproof glove, though hands can heat up during sustained exertion. The cuff and drawcord closure seal well against wind, though getting them back on with damp hands can be a little tricky. After extended use, the materials show solid durability and weather resistance, making them a strong, all-round choice for winter hillwalking, trekking, or general mountain use.
