This hat features a low profile 4-panel design, slight curved bill, has a black underbill to reduce glare and has patterned nylon tubular webbing with KAVU adjustment.
Our Verdict
At 71g, the nylon construction handles showers better than the old cotton versions and dries noticeably faster. Fit is easy to dial in thanks to the patterned webbing strap, and the low-profile shape stays put in wind or when moving with pace. Breathability is suitable for steady effort, and the soft inner finish keeps it comfortable against the head. Coverage is modest, and I would treat it as a casual cap, for around camp and the pub. As a lightweight, retro-styled option for day walks, travel, or changeable conditions, it offers a secure fit, easy wear, and straightforward weather resistance.
